Open Arms 4 Brevard

Open Arms 4 Brevard would like to ensure that no child does without a cake on their birthday. With this in mind, we have created the Free Birthday Cakes 4 Kids program. Careful consideration is made for each submission that we receive. 

We ask each parent, as a courtesy, contact us via email and provide a comment pertaining to their experience with Open Arms 4 Brevard and the Free Birthday Cakes 4 Kids program.  These comments are posted with a picture of the cake that their child has received.

The cakes provided are typically 1/4 sheet cakes that will accommodate approximately 15-20 guests. Design of the cake is left to the discretion of the volunteer that is supplying the cake. While we will accept design suggestions from the parents, we do not supply special order cakes or cakes that will accommodate large parties. This program was intended to assist the children of those individuals that cannot afford to provide a cake. 

**In order to be considered for a free birthday cake, you MUST complete the "Apply for Help Here" located on the Menu to the left. Forms that are incomplete and emails, will not be considered for a cake.  If a phone number is not provided, your submission will be disregarded.

One cake will be provided to each unemployed family that is approved for this program. We do not provide additional  "smash" cakes that some utilize on their childs first birthday. If you have decorations that contribute to the theme of your childs cake, and would like your items placed on the cake, we ask that you provide those decorations in advance.  

Please provide us with at least 5-7 days notice. While we will do our very best to accommodate your child, it makes our scheduling much easier if you plan ahead.

**The following information must be included in comment section of your submission:

1. Parent, Legal Guardian, Organization Name?
2. How did you hear about this program?
3. Child's Name
4. Child's Date of Birth including year
5 Any Food Allergies, diabetes, or health issues? (Please do not state "none" in your submission)
6. Cake Theme or Character
7. Detailed explanation relating to your circumstances, and why you should be considered for the program.
8. Party date

Upon receipt of your original request, you will be contacted by a staff member. If contact cannot be made within 24 hours of your request, your submission will be removed. There will be no exceptions. Recipients must make arrangements to pick up their cake. 

PARENTS MUST ARRIVE ON TIME TO PICK UP THEIR CHILDS BIRTHDAY CAKE. IF YOU CANNOT ARRIVE ON THE DAY AND SCHEDULED TIME, PLEASE HAVE THE COURTESY TO CONTACT US AND MAKE OTHER ARRANGEMENTS.

PARENTS ARE REQUIRED TO RETURN PHONE CALLS TO OUR STAFF WITHIN 24 HOURS OF THE INITIAL CONTACT. THOSE PARENTS THAT DO NOT RESPOND WITHIN 24 HOURS WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE BIRTHDAY CAKE LIST. REMOVAL IS FINAL AND WILL NOT BE REVERSED.
